I have lived in Orlando for almost 20 years, but I have never seen a bulk food store here. I would love to know if there are any bulk food stores in the Central Florida area (and a directory of bulk food stores would be an excellent addtion to this site, especially for vacationing on the cheap).

I just got a mill to grind my own wheat. Do you know of a place to buy wheat for a reasonable price? Thanks!

i did a little searching on what yeast food is all about, and found some interesting stuff here:

http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/475756

unfortunately, i have never heard of it, nor have i seen it in a recipe..

i would imagine thought that if you are just starting out baking bread, there are a lot more good recipes that don't require yeast food..

you can find some proven ones here:

www.breadworld.com

let me know if you have any other questions..

Don't really have a comment. But I do have a question. I want to make my own bread but one of the recipes I have asks for yeast food as well as yeast. I am nit familiar with that and would like to know what i is as well as how to make my own.
Thank you
